Sengyun Kim

Sengyun Kim started playing the viola at age 14 and entered the Korea National University of Arts a few years later, where he studied with Hyungseok Kim and Soon Hwa Oh. He was then accepted into the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where he pursued his master’s degree and studied with Jean Sulem. He has received numerous prizes at national competitions in the last several years, and hopes that his participation in more international competitions will help craft a career as a successful violist.
