Hannah Burnett

Hannah Burnett, 23, began playing viola at the age of three. A native of Waco, Texas, she has performed internationally with concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Royal Concertgebouw, Smetana Hall, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts (Beijing). As an avid chamber musician, she attended Kneisel Hall from 2017 to 2019, and is a founding member of the Unison Quartet that participated in the 2019 Juilliard String Quartet Seminar and was the quartet in residence at the Perlman Music Program and the Aspen Center for Advanced String Quartet Studies in the summer of 2021. Hannah has been coached by members of the Juilliard String Quartet, and has collaborated with artists such as Natasha Brofsky, Laurie Smukler, and Janine Jansen. Hannah completed her bachelor’s degree at the Juilliard School in May 2020, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the Juilliard School under the tutelage of Roger Tapping and Misha Amory. She is a proud recipient of the Kovner Fellowship at the Juilliard School.
