Danielle Wiebe Burke

Danielle Wiebe Burke has been praised for her pure sound and musicianship. She has earned degrees from New England Conservatory with Kim Kashkashian (B.M.) and Yale University with Ettore Causa (M.M., D.M.A.). She was a prizewinning finalist in the Sphinx Competition for Black and Latinx musicians, a finalist in Yale University’s concerto competition, and has been awarded grants for a variety of educational and interdisciplinary performing arts initiatives. Heard on recent releases by contemporary composers from Hannah Lash to Ethan Braun, she has also performed at festivals such as Yellowbarn, Staunton, Tanglewood, Sarasota, and Music Academy of the West, as well as in concert halls throughout the United States and Europe. Danielle plays on a 2009 Stefan-Peter Greiner viola.
