Andy Park is in his second year of studies at Yale University, where he studies with Ettore Causa. Before attending Yale, Andy was a student at the Colburn Music Academy, where he studied with Gina and Paul Coletti. He was selected as a National YoungArts Finalist in 2020 and, as an orchestra enthusiast, he participated in the 2018 New York String Orchestra Seminar and won a principal viola position in the 2019 National Youth Orchestra. In previous summers, Andy has participated in rigorous chamber music festivals such as Music@Menlo and the Heifetz Ashkenasi/Kirshbaum Seminar. He has performed with inspirational artists such as Joshua Bell, Nicholas Kitchen, Yeesun Kim, Yefim Bronfam, and Pamela Frank. He has also been featured in masterclasses led by Roberto Diaz, Karen Dreyfus, and Paul Coletti. Andy currently uses a bow and a viola graciously loaned by the Maestro Foundation.
